Servant Week offers a chance for individuals or youth groups to make a difference. Meet local people who are living the Christian lifestyle, and spend time helping and caring for the needy of Key West. This unique city, surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Ocean, is populated by a wide variety of subcultures - people who have chosen to live here rather than be a part of the mainstream U.S. There is extreme wealth and extreme poverty in Key West. Many of the churches see this mix as a unique opportunity to live our mission as servants and have life changing experiences. This week will be rounded out with snorkeling, shopping and other fun activities.

The $500 cost of thre trip includes transportation, meals, and program supplies (except meals on our travel days).  Our plan is to have one major fundraiser to cover $400 of the cost, inviting members of te congregation to be our "Mission Angels." We will thank these partners with post-cards and email wile we are working, and then with a meal and presentation after our trip.  Each member of our mission team will be asked to share a three minute discription of themselves and their hopes for the trip as we speak with gathered groups of our congregation.  It will be the poewer of our pwersonal storeis that will touch the hearts and wallets of our members!
