  • Angel Wings
    AngelAngel Wings provides support to those who have lost a child during pregnancy or in the first year. A five week support group meets to help talk through the loss. In November, a special All Saint’s Sunday Service is open to all.
  • Narcotics Anonymous

    Narcotics Anonymous is a nonprofit fellowship of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem. Members are recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean. The only requirement for membership is to desire to stop using. There are no initiation fees or dues. The group is open to anyone — regardless of religious background. St. Luke’s provides space for this group to meet.
  • Meals On Wheels
     Meals on Wheels of Summerville, Inc. is a community sponsored program designed to provide home-delivered noon meals for those who are unable to prepare meals for themselves. Each weekday about 149 meals are prepared in the Meals on Wheels kitchen by staff cooks. They are packed and delivered by teams of volunteers throughout the greater Summerville area.
  • Habitat For Humanity

  • Missionaries in Hong Kong
     St. Luke Lutheran Church supports missionaries Ted and Jane Zimmerman and The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hong Kong (ELCHK).
  • Palmetto House
    Palmetto House provides a place of rest for those who are without proper shelter. Started by a group of area churches, Palmetto House first responded to those who had lost homes in Hurricane Hugo. St. Luke’s provides a valuable source of volunteers for this group.
  • NAMI
     NAMI Berkeley is about people working together to enable each individual with a brain disorder to live the best life possible. We are part of a 1,200 affiliate national network of more than 220,0000 members. We cordially invite you to join us.
  • Casserole Ministry
    When our congregational members and families have health challenges or a family crisis, we can offer support through the Casserole Ministry. When we learn of a need, members of the congregation who have volunteered deliver a meal to the family in need. We are currently recruiting additional cooks and additional drivers who can prepare a meal or deliver a meal.
  • Angel Tree Ministry
       Every year we to make the Christmas dreams of the less fortunate come true with gifts.

  • Thanksgiving Day Baskets
       Working with other congregations in the area, we deliver packages of food for a wholesome Thanksgiving meal to those in the area with need.
  • My Sister's House
       My Sister's House, Inc., founded by volunteers in 1980, provides safe shelter to victims of domestic violence and their children throughout the Tri-County area. Women who are in immediate danger from verbal, emotional, physical or sexual abuse are eligible for services offered by My Sister's House, Inc. at no charge.
